The Center for Dignity in Healthcare for People with Disabilities (funded by the Administration for Community Living) is an interdisciplinary coalition of stakeholders, including medical providers, researchers, ethicists, individuals with disabilities, and their family members. The Center’s goal is to identify and reduce life-limiting healthcare inequities faced by people with intellectual and developmental (ID/DD) disabilities.
The CMS Data Element Library (DEL) is the centralized resource for CMS assessment instrument, data elements (assessment items) that measure patient ability status and level of need for assistance to complete activities (and may be included for quality measurement of care). They allow standardized measurements of patients’ abilities in rehabilitation across post acute care settings including the patient’s physical, cognitive and communication abilities.

Disability Educational Resource Database provides an extensive Excel spreadsheet that helps you to see and create a model of disability curriculum. See this incredible tool as it can be used as is for SW or as a model for any healthcare profession.
CSWE’s incredible model of how to build a Disability Curriculum Describes in detail how this model above was built. It can be used in part for ALL healthcare professions. The model uses its SW profession's core competencies to indicate how each Disability Resource fulfills each of the competencies.(see #1 above to see the excel spreadsheet detailing these) These resources would benefit all healthcare professional's education in disability and healthcare and be sure to see the Excel Spreadsheet in item #1 above.
