On the First Thursday of every month at 11:30 EST ADHCE provides a networking opportunity to members and interested guests. The monthly meeting includes presentations around current topics of interest, advocacy, and announcements for upcoming events. You can also learn more about the organization and the wonderful work of its members. Students are welcomed.

If you are not a member you will need to register to receive a Zoom invite to attend monthly meetings.


September 7th Speaker:

Dr. Miriam Robbins DDS, MS serves as Director of the Care Center for Persons with Disabilities, Professor of Clinical Oral Medicine, and Professor of Clinical Restorative Dentistry at Penn Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Robbins brings extensive experience working with disabilities and their healthcare needs, having led the NYU College of Dentistry Special Needs Clinic as Director from 2002 to 2015. She is a Diplomat of American Board of Special Care Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Oral Medicine. She is very active within organized dentistry, serving as the President of both the Special Care Dentistry Association from 2016 to 2017 and the American Academy of Oral Medicine from 2017 to 2018.

Dr. Robbins will speak about her work at the Care Center for Persons with Disabilities and her efforts to ensure that dental students are educated to provide quality care to people with disabilities.

We hope you consider supporting our work and join ADHCE as a member. We welcome additional donations to support ongoing operational expenses as the organization continues to grow. We also provide student scholarships on topics of Disability Education and Advocacy.
