What Your Gift Supports

ADHCE promotes disability-related theory, research, and clinical learning in health care training. Gifts help sustain programs that bring disability education into the health professions, including student project scholarships and work connected to the Core Competencies on Disability for Health Care Education (PDF).

Student Project Scholarships

ADHCE scholarships recognize projects that improve disability-related health care education. Two recipients received $1,000 student project scholarships for 2026–2027:

Developing SafetyCompanion, a disability-informed safety application for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Toby “Bonk” Good

Using arts-based research to explore how newly disabled college students navigate health and campus services.
